Curriculum Advisory Committees

Home » Curriculum Advisory Committees

Curriculum Advisory Committees (CAC) act in an advisory capacity to the college regarding instructional programs in specific occupational and technical areas. CACs consist of community members, in particular, experienced professional and paraprofessional individuals familiar with the occupational area in Laurel Ridge Community College’s service region.

Realizing how valuable your time is, we limit the number of official meetings to once or twice a year.

During the meetings, program leads and directors will present important information about the programs, share any areas where help is needed, and provide an opportunity for you to make observations and suggestions about how we can make our programs as effective as possible.

With your assistance, our faculty and staff can help students gain the skills, knowledge, and work ethic  needed to reach their career goals!
